Visit the National Center on Secondary Education and Transition for current events and information relating to transition. The National Transition Network (NTN) was funded by the US Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs until September 30, 2001. NTN provided technical assistance and evaluation services to states with grants for Transition Systems Change and School-to-Work. The general mission of NTN was to strengthen the capacity of individual states to effectively improve transition and school-to-work policies, programs, and practices as they relate to youth with disabilities. In addition to direct technical assistance to states with projects, NTN developed and disseminated a variety of policy publications and other networking activities. Although NTN is no longer active, this Web site offers online publications, transcripts, workshop information and reports, state contacts, and more. Thanks for visiting! |
